At the Canterbury children’s centre, the Dolly Parton Imagination library program provides a book posted to each registered child monthly. Parents, careers, other sibling etc. agreed to read twice daily to their child until the child is able to read to them, and monitored by the Canterbury Children Centre on their progress from the age 0-5. With no cost or obligation to each family that is registered to the program.

Supporting the Huntley Branch Library in Jamaica
Fundraising to support the Jamaica Library Services overseas.
With funds raised by the Kiwanis Club of Croydon, we were able to donate a printer for the children for their homework use including a series of books for the school library and the wider community to enjoy reading mystery, fairy-tale, action, and adventure including education and reference, activity and interactive books to a wide range of children ageing from 3 to 21.
Amazingly with some additional funding, we also provided paint materials to refresh the Library facilities to be more welcoming for the children within the community.
