The Kiwanis Club of Croydon was invited to the Awards Night for the Croydon Women’s Football Team. It was a lovely night, and they also helped to promote the Kiwanis Dolls for Hospitals project we are currently running.

The Kiwanis Club of Croydon is thrilled with our recent collaboration with the Croydon University Hospital.
Our Dolls in Hospitals project was a heartwarming success, and we hope to continue providing support for the fantastic people who make up our Health Services.
These Kiwanis dolls are far more than simple toys; they serve as a vital bridge between young patients and their medical teams. The dolls provide a comforting blank canvas that allows doctors and nurses to demonstrate upcoming procedures—showing exactly where a bandage or injection will go—which helps demystify treatment and significantly reduces a child’s anxiety.
By allowing the children to color and personalize their dolls, this initiative transforms a clinical medical experience into one of ownership and creativity, offering a much-needed friend to hold during their time of recovery.
