Club President Mike presents our newest member, Dalian, with a welcome certificate at our most recent social evening.

Thank you to everyone who contributed their time, care, and creativity.
One act of kindness can spark hope, change a day, and even transform a life. 💛This video shares a heartfelt moment as handmade dolls are donated to Croydon University Hospital, bringing comfort and joy to children in their care. Every stitch represents love, compassion, and a commitment to making a difference.
The Kiwanis Club of Croydon is thrilled with our recent collaboration with the Croydon University Hospital.
Our Dolls in Hospitals project was a heartwarming success, and we hope to continue providing support for the fantastic people who make up our Health Services.
These Kiwanis dolls are far more than simple toys; they serve as a vital bridge between young patients and their medical teams. The dolls provide a comforting blank canvas that allows doctors and nurses to demonstrate upcoming procedures—showing exactly where a bandage or injection will go—which helps demystify treatment and significantly reduces a child’s anxiety.
By allowing the children to color and personalize their dolls, this initiative transforms a clinical medical experience into one of ownership and creativity, offering a much-needed friend to hold during their time of recovery.
